Free SEO Keyword Research tool: Jaaxy

If you are someone who wants to make a success of blogging, then you have most probably heard of search engine optimization (SEO) and keywords?

Not yet? Well, SEO is basically the optimization of your site in order to get better free rankings in search engines. This boils down to the process of getting search engines to trust your blog. If trust is earned, they know that you bring value to the people (readers) searching for a specific term.

One of the methods of improving your site’s SEO is keyword research.

This is the process where you analyze a certain keyword to see how many times it has been typed into search engines and how many sites offer results for the exact keyword.

This way, you can see what your chances are to rank for your specific keyword.

I would like to tell you a bit more about the best free SEO keyword research tool for me, Jaaxy.

Background of Jaaxy

Jaaxy was created by two guys named, Kyle and Carson.

They created this tool in order to help bloggers with their keyword research. Not only is this a keyword tool, it can also help you check your site rank, do website analyzing, brainstorming, etc.

These guys are people who truly believe in helping other people. That is why they didn’t only create a keyword tool, but something that offers much more than that.

But enough about that, let’s get to the fun part of this post.

How does Jaaxy work?

Okay, so first of all, once you have logged into Jaaxy, you are taken to a screen that allows you to type in a keyword of your choice. Just remember that the chances of you ranking for a short keyword are very scarce. It is therefore advised to rather try longer keywords and be creative!

Once you have typed in your first keyword, your results will look something like the image below.

It might be a bit confusing at first but you will get the hang of it in no time.

On the left, under “keyword”, you’ve got available suggestions that are similar to the keyword that you typed in. This is very handy as most of the results I use come from suggestions that Jaaxy makes.

The “Avg” column gives you the average amount of searches the specific term gets per month. You should try to get a term that is at least above 50.

“Traffic” is a number of visitors you would get to your site, should it rank on the first page of a search engine. I normally don’t give too much attention to this column. As long as your average searches are enough, you will get visits should you rank on the first page.

“QSR” stands for quoted search results. This is the number of websites that are ranking for the keyword. This is a very important column to watch. If this is too high, you will most probably not rank. I try to keep this below 50, but it’s not always possible.

The next column, “KQI” will give you an indication of the quality of the keyword. Green means it’s good to go, while red means, don’t use that keyword. In between, you also get yellow, which means it’s OK.

“SEO” is a score that Jaaxy gives the search term out of 100. If the score is above 90, at least, then your keyword is good to go.

“Domains” is the availability of the domains that are related to the keyword. This is not an important factor to consider.

When using this free SEO keyword research tool it is important to remember that you have to consider all the columns. It won’t help only looking at the number of searches and not caring about the competition. My main focus is on the first three columns.

Why Jaaxy?

You might ask why you would use Jaaxy when there are so many other keyword tools on the market?

The first thing that appealed to me was the fact that you get 30 free searches once you subscribe. This is awesome if you are new to Jaaxy. You can play around with keywords and get a feeling for how the tool works. A lot of the other programs want you to pay right away.

I also like something that is plain and simple. With some of the other programs that I’ve tried, it feels that it is far too complicated. With Jaaxy, it is quick and easy to learn and very user-friendly.

Support also plays a major role for me when it comes to joining a new program. With a support team like Kyle and Carson, you can rest assure when you’ve got a problem, they will help.

What does it cost to upgrade?

Like I said, when you first subscribe, you get 30 free searches. I would definitely suggest using these searches before paying any money. This way you will be sure whether you like it or not.

What I can tell you is, once you’ve used this keyword tool, you are not likely to go back to a different tool.

Below is an image explaining the different options and their prices.

Final thoughts

If you are looking for a free SEO keyword research tool that is user-friendly and affordable, then Jaaxy is the tool for you.

It is easy to understand and gives you accurate results in order to rank on the first page of search engines. If you have not signed up already, I would suggest doing so, now. It is free, after all.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed this post. Please feel free to share it on social media.
